Hydraulic Lime Plastering Course

……. and as a result of the huge amount of enquiries we have received, we have set up a 2 and 3 day Lime Plastering Courses. Both are run during the week and at weekends
On the 2 day course, using hydraulic lime, you will learn how to mix up, apply it to various materials and create your preferred smooth or textured finish.
This breathable lime based plaster is great for renovations. However lime plaster is not only ideal for renovation work but also heritage, conservation and sustainable builds because it uses natural materials.
In addition it can be a great benefit in newer buildings. The levels of air tightness and insulation are ever increasing. As a result, this contributes to condensation which can ultimately lead to the formation of mould.
Hydraulic Lime Plaster is quick setting and easy to use. It is prove to passively improve indoor air quality and absorb pollutants.
Because it is both breathable and hygroscopic, it is proven to reduce the risk of mould and condensation.
The 3 day course is better suited to those with no experience of using a trowel and hawk. You will concentrate on the hawk and trowel skills on the first day. This will teach you to get the plaster efficiently from the bucket or spot to the wall. On the following two days you will then concentrate on the lime plastering
These courses are currently not available for home tuition, however we hope to do so in the future.
HOW TO BOOK
A 10% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 2 weeks before the course commences unless prior arrangements are made.

After you fill in the booking form and confirm your chosen dates, you can choose to pay the 10% deposit using your debit or credit card through Stripe or pay through PayPal to secure your place on the selected course.
WE ARE UNABLE TO HOLD DATES WITHOUT A DEPOSIT.
Once your deposit is paid, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your payment.It will also give you details of how and when to pay the remaining balance for your course.
The balance can be paid anytime up to 14 days before your course starts.
